***SPECIAL MEETING May 13th, 2008***
"A" Shift is working! Please come out and participate in your Association. This meeting is being held to provide results of our Trustees financial audit and, to certify e-board election results.
This meeting will be held at the Moose Lodge 343 at 7:00 pm in the cabana/tiki bar weather permitting, in the main hall otherwise. It is ".25 cent chicken wing nite" at the Lodge, so come on out a little early and enjoy some of the great food prepared in the Lodge kitchen.

The raffle was a Success! Thank you so very much to all that participated and came out for the drawing. Colin Simpson won 3rd prize, Chad Chandler won 2nd prize, and First prize went to Tommy Holder, member of Sanford Professional FireFighters Association / Local 3861.
Step Up For Soldiers 5K Combat Fun Run.

A memorial for the 1-120 Combat Arms Battalions will be dedicated on June 21, 2008 from 10am-3pm at 2412 Infantry Rd, Wilmington NC. This Memorial will honor soldiers who lost their lives in Iraq in 2004.

Come out and support "Step up for Soldiers" and thank them for their efforts to make this happen. The memorial is located at the National Guard Headquarters off of N. Kerr Ave. Dedication from 10:00am-11:30am, Open house from 11:30am-3:00pm. Following the service, entertainment,food and drinks will be provided.

FireCo. will be conducting fundraising by phone in our area for the next month. Proceeds from this effort benefit the Professional FireFighters and Paramedics of North Carolina (PFFPNC) and the Wilmington Professional FireFighters Association, Local 129. The proceeds of this fundraiser assist in legal and legislative efforts as well as financial aid for firefighter members in need. Locally, the funds are used to fund our Honor Guard, educational conferences, travel and logistics for many other charitable endeavors. This success of this effort will be used to determine the "customer" base for putting on concerts/entertainment sponsored by our organization in the future. Please support this fundraiser now and be the first to be called when we begin putting on shows!

The regularly monthly meeting of Wilmington Professional FireFighters Association, I A F F Local 129 is held at the Wilmington Moose Lodge, # 343. Located at 4610 Carolina Beach Rd. next to the EMS station and across from St. Andrews Dr.
A "social" half hour may be conducted in the Moose Lodge lounge from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. and you are invited to stay after the meeting and enjoy the hospitality of the Moose Lodge members and staff. You must be signed in as a guest to enjoy the lounge.
